9:00AM | 10:00AM | Keynote | Greg Schwem - Work, Laugh, Repeat HuffPost calls Greg Schwem "your boss' favorite comedian." But Greg prefers to think of himself as a business humorist" who motivates corporate America through laughter. Sadly, the ability to laugh at oneself and one's industry is disappearing from the corporate environment. Greg brings that laughter back with his hilarious presentation, "Work, Laugh, Repeat." Attendees will see how Greg can find the "funny" in serious Captive Forum topics like risk management and cybersecurity. Come to learn but, more importantly, come to laugh. Greg Schwem is a perfect way to kick off the conference! Click here to sponsor this item. (Presentation not available for publishing) |

11:10AM | 12:00PM | The role of Risk and Insurance in managing Vendor Cyber Risks Digital transformation is as ubiquitous as Cyber risk, but in spite of their fundamental connection, the two are still not being treated with equal urgency. Although digital assets are reported as having greater economic value than physical assets the lack of cyber risk analysis is leading to under-utilisation of captives (9% adoption) and insurance (40%) to protect the balance sheet. The growing adoption of technology vendors will only add complexity to this challenge and potentially significant accumulation risk. This session will explore the new cyber threats and the role of risk officers in navigating these emergent challenges using risk quantification, financing and transfer strategies.
